When the moment arrives for your baby’s entrance into the world, our Birth Doula service ensures you never face it alone. Offering both in-person and virtual options, this service is tailored to surround you with soothing comfort and steadfast confidence. Our professional doulas support your birth plan, acting as your advocates with the medical team.

Package Includes: (Prenatal, Birth and Postpartum Support)

Pregnancy:

•  20min complimentary virtual consultation to meet and greet your perspective doula.
• (2) In person or virtual prenatal visits to thoroughly prepare you for labor and the postpartum period. These personalized visits are designed to discuss your pregnancy, birth preferences, and questions, helping you feel confident, supported, and prepared for your baby’s arrival.
• Personalized Birth Plan: Following our consultation, you will receive an electronic copy of your Birth Plan. This document serves as a guide for your labor and delivery preferences and can be printed and shared with your healthcare providers.

Labor:

• On-Call Support: 24/7 on-call availability starting from week 38 of your pregnancy for labor-related inquiries and guidance.
• Continuous in person support during active labor throughout delivery. Support via video calls, text messages, and phone available during early labor.

Post-partum:

• Up to 2hrs of immediate post-partum support after delivery at birthing location, breastfeeding support included as desired.
• Post-partum support (2) home or virtual visit per preference included within 6-8wks of delivery to help support the family and answer any concerns for the family or newborn care support.
• Up to 8wks of postpartum phone, text and email support as needed.

* A birth doula provides compassionate continuous emotional support, physical comfort measures, and advocacy during labor helping you feel calmer, more confident, and focused on you and your baby. This package will best prepare your family for the birth of your new bundle of joy. Mahogany Motherhood will be there to support you from prenatal to postpartum with optimal support.

• An Herbal Sitz Bath which is a warm, shallow soak infused with organic healing herbs designed to gently soothe and restore the perineal area after childbirth. This comforting ritual helps reduce swelling, ease soreness, promote healing of tears or stitches, and provides a calming moment of self-care during postpartum recovery.
• Bengkung Belly Binding, a traditional Malaysian postpartum practice that involves wrapping the abdomen to support healing after childbirth. It helps provide core support, improve posture, and assist the uterus in returning to its pre-pregnancy size. Belly Bind and Belly oil or butter included. Service provided during one of your bundled postpartum visits.

*Additional fees:

• Travel fees: Starting at $100 Apply to any approved service agreement that requires extended travel of 35+ miles. 
• Extended travel areas included but not limited to are: The Woodlands, Humble, Katy, Spring, Crosby, Atascocita.
• Short Date delivery fee: Starting at $125 Applies to any approved service agreement booked after 34wks.
